HOW TO TRAVEL WITH JEWELRY

Since world is recovering from COVID and a lot of people are starting to travel again, we decided to create a little guide about how to travel with jewelry to keep it safe and protected.

It is difficult to keep track of your jewelry while you are traveling, but with our tips you can avoid all of the problems and just enjoy your vacation.

1. The simple and the most important rule is do not bring anything with you, that you are going to worry about losing. Just leave these pieces at home.
2. Bring few essential pieces and couple of statement pieces with you to mix and match and add the final touch to your outfits.
3. When you decided what you are going to bring with you, take a picture of it. It will help you to keep track of the items you brought to avoid leaving any of them in the hotel room when you head home. Also, it can help when working with insurance agents or hotel staff if any items go missing.
4. Invest in a good jewelry roll or case, it will help to store your jewelry and avoid tarnishing or tangling.
5. Wear your jewelry through the airport or put it in your carry-on. Never, just never put your jewelry in a checked bag.

6. Once you arrive to the hotel, store your jewelry inside your hotel’s safe. Do not leave your jewelry out in the room, or even inside of your luggage.
7. If you are travelling somewhere potentially risky or will be walking a lot in a metro area or crowded area, just say no to flashy, massive and statement pieces.
8. Do not wear your jewelry to any adventurous or water-based activities, minimizing the risk of losing it.
